Masked Marauder Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 Ah, the joys of life at the chalk-face. Never mind, soon be half term again then just after that will be summer. Better you than me! I picked my son up from school the other week and some of the parents were moaning because one of the teachers had just bought a Porsche and it was in the car park. What the hell it had to do with them I don't know, but I do know that if a teacher was paid the same rate as my child minder they would be getting about Quote
Masked Marauder Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 I have gone right off topic there..... Quote
mumof4 Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 child minders....now they can charge what they like because they are neede!!!! round here i wouldnt use any of them as ive seen how they treat the kids they look after..3 in particular i dont know how they get away with sitting in a coffee shop and leaving the poor kids strapped in a pushchair for the morning. it beggers belief.......but i know one of them charges 700 for the month and that is part time!!!20 afternoons a month. 6 weeks off school in the summer is too much..when that is the most expensive time to go anywhere or do anything!!!!!!..why do people put they prices up then???shouldnt be allowed.thats why we havent had a holiday for ruddy years. Tell me about the prices in the summer .. not I think its supply and demand, been some talk about going to a four term year which would be an improvement, definitely can't afford porche though!!!!! Guest neil_wiles Posted April 28, 2006 Report Posted April 28, 2006 OK Yesterday the fish (Mumof4) was hooked by a spoof ebay item, she was worried the computer failure in the realms of payroll may leave her exposed. So I put together a copy of an ebay auction showing her selling the Boss's office desk. She fell hook line and sinker for it and was about to report her account as being hijacked. Here it is ........
